I have always loved learning. I like learning new things! I don’t really know that any one was my favorite subject. My two favorites were probably math classes and English classes.
I like to read! This is something that my parents started when I was a little kid. They gave me books when I was a really little kid. I could read before I started Kindergarten! When I was a kid, I would read books about animals mostly. Later, I read the Laura Ingalls Wilder series. After that phase, I started reading mysteries especially Agatha Christie novels. Now, I read romance novels especially Nora Roberts and Lynnsay Sands.
The other favorite subject was math. I have always loved numbers. I like that they always function the same way. 1 plus 1 always equals two and it always will! This is somehow comforting to me. I like that math is something that you can COUNT on!
I was always good in school. I never had problems with my grades and I have always been one of those people who just got the answers in school. Maybe math and reading are my two favorites because I seem to be equally good at the two sides of my brain. When I took the SAT, I scored equally well on both the verbal and the math sections. Apparently this isn’t usual but it stayed the same for me even when I re-took the test!
