52 Weeks of Personal History & Genealogy: Week #43 – Worst School Subject

My least favorite subject in school was PE. I hated it. It involved playing games with other kids and I was never the athletic type. Also, I was incredibly shy and hated to be the center of attention for even a few minutes! I would do everything I could to avoid going to PE.

I also hated recess. I know most other kids love it but I hated it! I never made real friends until I was in high school so I just sort of wandered around and felt out of place most of the time. I was much happier in the classroom learning to read and do math.

As I got older, I hated any class that made me give a speech or do a lot of class participation. I would avoid those classes as much as possible!

Week #43 – Worst School Subject

This challenge runs from Saturday, October 22, 2011 through Friday, October 28, 2011.

52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History by Amy Coffin is a series of weekly blogging prompts (one for each week of 2011) that invite genealogists and others to record memories and insights about their own lives for future descendants. You do not have to be a blogger to participate. If you do not have a genealogy blog, write down your memories on your computer, or simply record them on paper and keep them with your files.
