I am in the process of restarting my website. I am moving from a wordpress website to using a standalone website editor and it may be a few weeks before I get everything uploaded and rewritten.
I have been researching my family history for many years. I got started back when my grandmother (my dad's mother) first showed me a box of photos with most of them unidentified. I am still working to identify some of those photos and many of them are featured on my website in my unidentified photos gallery. Take a look and help identify them if you are related.
The photos now include photos from my mother's side of the family as well as I copied many photos from my mother's mother's collection after she died.
The Leaves of my Family Tree includes the following major surnnames: Waggonner, Reynolds, Lawrence, Barnes, Berry, Carter, Huffines, Stout, Keck, Gabbard, Williams, Branscum, King, and Stansell. Many of my lines were in Tennessee before they came to Arkansas.
Several of my ancestors served in the various wars including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and both World Wars. A few of my ancestors were widely known during their lives but most were ordinary American citizens who lived their lives the best they knew how and tried to make the world a better place for their children and their children's children.
Some family trees have beautiful leaves, and some have just a bunch of nuts. Remember, it is the nuts that make the tree worth shaking.
