I think that this photo is of Grandpa Stout in the center of the photo on the left. I don't know who the other men are but I would think it likely that they are employees in the canning company.

The family story is that Grandpa Stout owned the canning company during the war and that new regulations after the war requiring upgrades to the factory put him out of business.

I have now seen a document that shows that Grandpa rented a warehouse during the period at the end of World War II.

Great-Grandpa Stout's truck can be seen in the carport. This is the only vehicle I can remember him driving. The roses are the roses that he planted for Great-Grandma Stout. He cared for those roses until shortly before he died (when he became simply too ill to go outside to the rose bushes anymore).

It is as follows: One son of Crawford and Gwendolyn Thompson, James (Buster) Thompson, his wife Carolyn and their children Kelly, Tammy, and Michael all attended the birthday dinner I am very sorry about my mistake.

Sincerely,
