In the late 1970s, we went to Big Flat to visit Great-Grandma Lawrence. I think it may have been for her birthday.

Those are Great-Grandma Lawrence's roses in the photo. She loved those roses.

The jackets that Tammy and I are wearing are our Green Forest Tigers jackets that we got shortly after moving to Green Forest. So the photo had to be taken after we moved in 1978 and Mike looks to be about 3-5 years old so it must be around 1979.

Pat and Linville and their kids also lived in Green Forest. One evening while Grandma and Grandpa were visiting, Pat's family came over to our house. We all had a good time during this visit.
