Woman May Die After Auto Crash

Car Overturns in Loose Gravel on Highway West of Alpena

Mrs. V. H. Seaborne of Enid, Oklahoma, was probably fatally injured this morning at 8 o'clock, when an automobile in which she was riding, overturned in loose gravel two miles of Alpena.

Mrs. Seaborne with her husband and two children were making a tour of of the Ozarks and were driving toward Harrison when the accident occurred. Her husband, who was driving, and two children, were uninjured. Mrs. Seaborne was pinned beneath the car. She was taken to a Springfield, Mo., hospital for an emergency operation.

It is believed that the car was being driven at a fast speed, and that the loose gravel caused it to skid and overturn.

An ambulance was summoned from Harrison to take the injured woman to Springfield.
