Gary Wayne Thompson, 50, of Marble, Arkansas, died January 21, 2009 at the Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born November 20, 1958 at Springdale, Arkansas, the son of The Reverend Claud W. and Juanita Parker Thompson. He was a longtime employee of Butterball Turkey Company and attended the Marble United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and was a loving husband, father and son.
Survivors include: his wife of twenty-nine years, Kathy Miller Thompson of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Lyndell and Danae Thompson of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Latasha and Daniel Born of Huntsville, Arkanas; his mother, Juanita Thompson Bryant of Huntsville, Arkanas; two brothers, Johnny Thompson of Huntsville, Arkansas and David Thompson of Hindsville, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Rick Houston of Kingston, Arkansas; one grandson, Braxton Daniel Born of Huntsville, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Hannah Jean Born and Gabriella Nacole Thompson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, January 24, at the Marble United Baptist Church with The Reverends Alvin Reynolds and Terry Easterling officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Jess Parker, Hubert Burris, Glenn West, Harold Miller, Raymond Miller and Chester Cormier. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lyndell Thompson, Daniel Born, Mike Currie, Ronnie Villines, Gary McGarrah and Sammy Smith. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Gary Wayne Thompson, 50, of Marble died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

He was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Springdale to the Rev. Claud W. and Juanita Parker Thompson. He was a longtime employee of Butterball Turkey Co. and attended the Marble United Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Kathy Miller Thompson; a son, Lyndell Thompson of Huntsville; a daughter, Latasha Born of Huntsville; his mother, Juanita Thompson Bryant of Huntsville; two brothers, Johnny Thompson of Huntsville and David Thompson of Hindsville; a sister, Judy Houston of Kingston; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Marble United Baptist Church with the Revs. Alvin Reynolds and Terry Easterling officiating. Burial will be in the Lower Campground Cemetery.

Darther Lee Thompson, 78, of Huntsville died May 21 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born July 16, 1908, in Whoron, Ark, the son of Allie Fields and Martha Ann Faddis Thompson. He was a farmer, a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and the widower of Ida Lenora Enlow Thompson, who died in 1983.

Survivors include five sons, Eual Thompson, Lee Roy Thompson, Bobby Ray Thompson and John Henry Thompson, all of Huntsville, and Frankie Dean Thompson of Springdale; two daughters, Betty Ledbetter and Wilma Ledbetter, both of Huntsville; his mother, Martha Thompson of Huntsville; five brothers, Eual Thompson of Tahlequah, Okla., Jewell Thompson of Fort Gibson, Okla., Milton Thompson and Alfred Thompson, both of Huntsville, and Olen Thompson of Kamas, Utah; three sisters, Vivian Ballew of Tahlequah, Reva Winner and Lillian Cookson, both of Huntsville; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
