     Mary Isabelle Keck was born on 8 December 1863 at Witter, Madison, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John Keck and Martha Catherine Rachael Comer.

Mrs. Mary Keck-Hall, age 83, died March 27 at her home near Witter. Funeral services will be held today at the Witter Cemetery with the Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by two brothers, Kige Keck of Huntsville, Sam Keck of Baker City, Oregon, and two sisters, Mrs. Virgie McAdoo of Woodville, Okla., and Mrs. Ida Dennis of Berkeley, Cali. Her husband, Dave Hall, passed away several years ago. Seven other brothers and sisters preceded her in death. A more extended obituary will appear next week.

Mary Isabell (Keck) Hall was born Dec. 8, 1863, and died near her birthplace at Witter, Ark., March 27, 1947 at the age of 83 years.

She united with the Methodist Church more than 50 years ago and later became a member of Christian Union. She was a faithful and true Christian. She was one of a large family of twelve children, of which two brothers and two sisters survive her, viz; Sam Keck of Baker City, Oregon, Kige Keck of Huntsville, Ida Dennis of Berkeley, Calif., and Virgie McAdoo of Woodville, Okla.

Burial was in the Witter cemetery, Friday, March 28, with the funeral service conducted by Chas. L. McElhaney.

Pall Bearers were: Andrew McFee, Ewell McFee, Elmer Whorton, Elmer Cook, Jack Barrow and Frank Marlow.

Madison County has lost another of its pioneer citizens. She was the daughter of John Keck who came to the Witter community from Tennessee before the Civil War.
