     Elsie Elizabeth Horine was born on 27 May 1904 at Marble, Arkansas. She was the daughter of James Marion Daniel Horine and Myrtle I Myers. Elsie Elizabeth Horine married William Jess Stansell, son of William Oliver Stansell and Susan Angeline King, on 23 October 1923 at Marble, Madison, Arkansas. Elsie Elizabeth Stansell died on 2 August 1972 at her home at Route 6, Caldwell, Idaho, at age 68. She was buried on 8 August 1972 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, Idaho.

Services for Elsie F. Stansell, 68, of Route 6, Caldwell, Idaho, who died Wednesday, August 2, of natural causes at her home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell by the Rev. R. E. Gillatt of the Assembly of God Church. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

She was born May 27, 1904, at Marble, Ark. She grew up here and married William J. Stansell at Marble, on Oct. 31, 1923. They lived in Arkansas and moved to Idaho in 1952 and settled in the Sunny Slope area in 1953.

She was a member of the Baptist Church in Arkansas.

Survivors include her husband, a son, James D. Stansell, Caldwell; three daughters, Mrytle Foster, Parma, Fay Smith, Springdale, Ark., and Virgie Simms of Caldwell; two sisters, Essie Derie, Fruitland and Carrie Bolinger, Springdale; three brothers, Walter Horine, Springdale, Woodrow Horine, Huntsville, Ark. and Noble Horine, Visalia, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

     Her mother Myrtle I Myers died in 1920 at Madison, Arkansas. As of 23 October 1923,her married name was Stansell. Her daughter Mrytle Stansell was born on 10 September 1924 at Marble, Madison, Arkansas. Her daughter Virgie Stansell was born on 15 May 1926 at Huntsville, Madison, Arkansas. Her daughter Faye Elizabeth Stansell was born on 29 May 1928 at War Eaglel, Benton, Arkansas. Her son William James "Jimmie" Dell Stansell was born on 21 October 1931.

Funeral Rites for Smith Baby Held Thursday

Funeral services for little Monda Marie Smith, six-months-old daughter of Ernest and Faye Stansell Smith, were held in the chapel of the Callison-Sisco Funeral home at Springdale Thursday, August 14, at 1 o'clock, by Rev. Cecil Garrison.

The baby died August 11 in the Hugoton, Kans., hospital after two days illness with pneumonia. She was born at Marble February 14 of this year.

Survivors are her parents of Hugoton, Kans., three sisters, Linda Kay, Zelma and Bobby, all of the home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Stansell of Marble, the paternal grandfather, Frank Smith of Springdale, and other relatives.

Burial was in the cemetery at Decatur with arrangements by the Callison-Sisco Funeral home of Springdale.
